The term “semi-precious” closely relates to that of a valuable stone or gem. It is not uncommon to alter the essence of what is a true definition, however, in blending the metaphorical and literal form.

The term “semi-precious” closely relates to that of a valuable stone or gem. It is not uncommon to alter the essence of what is a true definition, however, in blending what can be a metaphor and a literal form.

Through the lens, the model was able to evoke a love connection between dynamic and serene forms, pushing the boundaries of beauty and abstraction. The gleaming light acts as a catalyst, pushing her to evolve with her environment. 

Stones and gems have consistent anatomies until altered by their environment. The alterations or imperfections are what create their uniqueness and character. This is why the model’s environment is exposed. 

Her evolution of poses through symbolic movement grants her the ability to create her own value. Though I can announce the preciousness of it, it is she who can define it.
